The room was very small. In the course of conversation checking in —first time in Rome?— I mentioned it was not even my first time at this hotel. So he gave me a bigger room. But with two open suitcases on the floor overstuffed with my exaggerated ideas of what I would need for seven weeks in Europe, there was scarce room for my feet. There was the bed, however, a single, not the usual queen. But it was heavenly! The perfect firmness I have missed in the hotels of the weeks before. Lying down in that bed was not only restful, but restorative. A big, big plus. To throw in the remaining minuses, let me say that the hot water was often intermittent and not as hot as one might like. The hotel is off on a side street from via delle Botteghe Oscure, so no street noise, but the walls are thin, and you hear everyone who opens or closes their door or speaks in the hall or volubly in their room next door if you happen to be sleeping late or napping the the afternoon. (I never tried the TV.). So much for the bad. What every other reviewer tells you about the superb excellence of the location is true in spades. I will certainly come back here next time.

The location is excellent, a hundred yards up a side street off via delle Botteghe Oscure, so you don’t hear the traffic, though at night you do hear the local cats. You are beautifully poised to go to Piazza Venezia and the Campidoglio to the right, Largo Argentina to the left. From the latter you are a short from Campo dei Fiori, left, or the Pantheon, Piazza Navona. You’re in the heart of it. I don’t remember whether there was any problem with the hot water, but I’m going back next month and can tell you then.

Excellent location , surround by many historic buildings, walking distance from means touristic sites (Trevi fountain, the Pantheon, the Colosseum) Easy public transportation to the Vatican city and not so far from Central Station, delicious cosy Italians restaurants near by, the rooftop bar was a good surprise not so expensive drinks, very good breakfast many choices reasonable price, over all was very good stay excellent for those first timer in Rome.

Excellent location in the historic center. You can walk to every major monument and plazas (5-15 minutes). Get the breakfast, excellent value for the buffet. If you haven’t been in Italy before, and Europe for that matter, keep in mind that this is the “Old World”: Hotels in the historic centers are old, so don’t expect large rooms with large bathrooms. You get just enough space to get clean and rest. Go out and enjoy Rome!

I like the room it's comfortable. You can just walk around - shops and restaurants are available in the area. If you plan to take a day trip to Pisa or Milan just to check the vibes and explore those places then you are lucky because the bus stop is near. But there's so more things to do in ROME no need to take bus because the location is perfect.
